Mark Slatten (co-owner)
Mr. Slatten has 38 years of experience as an oil-field geologist, mining geologist, engineering geologist, hydrogeologist, and geophysicist. He has extensive experience having managed over 1,200 projects, including program management for major energy corporations, environmental companies, utility locating and drilling companies, and gold mining companies. Mr. Slatten’s project sites have included military installations, government facilities, refineries, landfills, industrial sites, and gold mines, among others. His clients have included federal, state, county, city, and private customers. Mr. Slatten is currently enrolled in a PhD program with an interest in open-pit gold mining health and safety. Paula Slatten (co-owner)
Ms. Slatten has 21 years of experience as Corporate CFO, office manager, human resources director, and dispatcher. She has extensive experience having managed salaries and schedules for up to 8 personnel, including geologists, geophysicists, drillers, and field technicians. Her experience as a medical biller and resultant knowledge of the medical profession has manifested itself in a perfect health and safety record for her entire tenure with the Company.
Associates
Nicholas Aiani – Sr. field technician with 10 years of experience at military installations, government facilities, refineries, landfills, industrial sites, and gold mines, among others. He specializes in field procedures, including sampling soil and groundwater for analysis.
Kevin Clark – Professional geologist registered in California with over 30 years of experience in monitoring drilling projects and collecting representative samples for analysis.
Victor Otten – lawyer with 20 years of experience in litigation and contract law.
Todd Schumacher – has 30 years in hardware and software development in the mining industry. He is also responsible for contract development.
John Shields – has over 30 years in the mining industry acquiring, servicing, and repairing equipment at gold mines in the western United States and Canada. He is an expert in equipment development and usage at mine sites.
